Day 20. For this piece, I entered the score into ChatGPT and told it to create a midi file with four tracks in an ambient style and using the prompts. I then took the midi tracks, put them into Logic Pro and and modified them to create a repeating motif over which I then played my Soma Terra synth.

Today’s jam is made entirely from a field recording of some interfering sine waves captured while working with a function generator in an electronics lab today. I spent 12 hours today in classes and labs (also assembled a basic optical spectrometer for the first time!), so this is all I had time for, but it’s something!

I picked the prompt mood: raw. The text is about loosing yourself, feeling numb and not knowing where to go. I didn’t have time to finalize the recording so it’s raw emotions plus raw recording :wink:
