I learned a new word today.
Had to translate brooding into Dutch to realize it’s a feeling I know very well.
Mine tends to be dark, loud, heavy, and chaotic, with a lot of sub.
Finished this yesterday but forgot to post, so now it’s today’s!
Created with my Yamaha Seqtrak, going straight into an audio track on Logic Pro for iPad…don’t exactly love how it came out from a mixing standpoint but I still have a lot to learn with the device.
Made with: oxi one mk2 (brains), opxy (chords, arps, perc), op1 (weird whale song voice), plaits (glitchy voice), ona (bass), oxi meta (space reverb), erica synths dual fx (reverb and delay), expert sleepers disting ex (granulator), TX6 (final mix)
Day 28 - a short little synth melody, brooding, yet ethereal. I experimented with slowing the melody slightly and playing behind the beat towards the end, bringing it back to speed, and then slowing down again to finish.
Prompts used:
