“Stars reflected in still water”
A very mellow iOS jam.
Wanted to keep it simple today so I focused on composing/playing something with a brooding feel. Used the MPC and Osmose.
So close to the end now I can taste it. Just a quick little FL beat from some samples today. Synths used are GMS & Transistor Bass.
I learned a new word today.
Had to translate brooding into Dutch to realize it’s a feeling I know very well.
Mine tends to be dark, loud, heavy, and chaotic, with a lot of sub.
Finished this yesterday but forgot to post, so now it’s today’s!
Created with my Yamaha Seqtrak, going straight into an audio track on Logic Pro for iPad…don’t exactly love how it came out from a mixing standpoint but I still have a lot to learn with the device.
Probably my least fave as it turned out a bit boring… At least it is the first one that makes me feel that way out of 28

Day 28 - a short little synth melody, brooding, yet ethereal. I experimented with slowing the melody slightly and playing behind the beat towards the end, bringing it back to speed, and then slowing down again to finish.
