Out of town at a family function, very much enjoying sneaking away to bang these out on my laptop.

A bit late, to be edited after walking the dog.

For now a somber song which turned out more bittersweet, but I love this jam if only for playing around with the Sonicware Liven Evoke and Ambient0, truly a great combination (layered with the Waldorf Streichfett and Roland XV3080 for some added flavour)

Nice and wistful Matt. I like the sound of the lead a lot. Cool chord progression.

Happy and somber at the same time. A great combination!

Ignored (or rather forgot about) the prompt. So, today we have a noise track.

Most of the work is done by Tasty Chips GR-4 sampling the 4 drones from the Solar42 and then sending the grains through Synamodec’s Magnetar for distortion and feedback. The rest of the usual suspects provide some background texture (Matriarch, Pulsar-23, DFAMs)

Kinda amazing what a migraine does to music composition…
This ambientish track made using Arturia Pure Lofi and Pigments in Logic Pro X using stock patches (see above, re: migraine).

What an interesting choice of weird creaks and smooth Jazz.

Cool!

I had fun working with a vocal yesterday… so, opps, I did it again.
This one went a bit sideways, but it was fun. Mos def needs some mixing post JAMuary…

@muezig Nice jam again. If I heard something like this at a festival I would definitely stick around for a while.

@sunblogger The galloping works very well, and I love the subtilty of you jam.

@Yuteimusic Nice work

@Ray-Marcher Very nice. All sounds work together great and the arp is really amazing.

@MattSpringer Nice one! Love how it builds up to an explosion of hopefulness.

@beto Nice work. The EC4 looks like a really cool device for live performing and you really use it well to add movement to the jam.

@Syhr_Samoht Very nice, I love the expressiveness of the lead you’re playing and nice sound/vibe in general.

@erothyme Nice groove! and I really like the glitchy sounds.

@Gubna I really love this one. Superb ambience.

@DroneSinger Very nice. For me the door is a little too loud and it distracts me from the beautiful composition, but that’s just a minor detail. Great work.

@muezig nice! Love that distorted bass and the whole groove, it really puts me in the flow!

@sunblogger I really like the minimalist drums here, and how it becomes hypnotical in the end. Another one that put me completely in the flow!

@Yuteimusic cool intro with the filter on the bass, and I really like the the melody line and how it talks to the bass!

@Ray-Marcher there’s a nice build up of tension in each section, and I really like the melody in the verses — those two last notes give a nice release, as does the outro.

@MattSpringer “Beats by Tim Apple” made me chuckle! Nice playing on the keys, they capture the song title really well. And I love the crescendo around 2:00!

@Syhr_Samoht so cool, I love the tone and the melody of the lead, how it constrasts with the hypnotic little arpeggio!

@erothyme oh yeah, this is groovy. Everything fits well so nicely, the bass, the drums/claps, the glitches. Solid jam!!

@Gubna very space odissey, in a good way — luscious, spacious, and dreamy. I really like this, all the modulation going on, can you release a whole album?

@DroneSinger so good, I had to listen twice. Lovely warm chords on the piano, and when the bass comes in it’s just <chef’s kiss>! Not somber at all, definitely nostalgic, and another one that I want a whole album!

@Soupoclap this is somber but also full of beauty and hope! Another spacious minimalist composition that is huge, I really like it!

@banalytic really interesting rhythms and textures here, this is super cool!

@RosaLiechtenstein yeah, this is it! Super cool lead, and I love that glitchy bass. And it seems like you had fun with Amen break as well!

@FriendlyVisitor super cool percussion in this one, and I love the pads. It’s such a peaceful jam… I don’t know if I was suggestioned by you mentioning recording the door sample where you grew up, but it sounds very nostalgic to me, in a good way — like returning home.

@dreamindani nice one, I really like the guitar tones against the Moog, it’s a nice contrast that makes the guitar stand out. Made we want to use my guitar on my next jam tomorrow!

@Vidar happy you made something! This is sweet and lovely, I really enjoyed listening to it while drinking my morning coffee! :hot_beverage:

@elektronaut nice, I love the horns in this one! Cool build up with the ascending notes around 4:30… and that bass line is so warm and fat, I love it!

@CarfDarko I can definitely hear the bittersweet in the song, those chords are sad and longing for better times. Really beautiful!

@immaculate_abyss I like this, it’s mysterious and inorganic, perfect soundtrack for a movie in a space stations.

@AndyAffleck sorry to hear about your migraine, I’m happy you were still able to do something zen and introspective. It sounds gorgeous, with sad little notes from the piano, and I really like how it grows and becomes gnarly. Hope you feel better soon!

@daveyc nice one! I really enjoy the tracks with vocals, the open so many possibilities. Happy you went where it took you, even if sideways. It’s great!

@mmk230 nice build up here, this had me entranced and in the flow. Love all the textures you used!

@Soupoclap Love the atmosphere. The jam translates the Infinite Shadows in a beautiful way.

@banalytic Very interesting sonic exploration. Nice one.

@RosaLiechtenstein Cool! Nice flow and breaks.

@dreamindani Nice how you created the somber mood while the major key is clearly present in the bass.

@Vidar Very relaxing, a great airport soundtrack.

@elektronaut Nice piece of music, very enjoyable to listen to and I love the movement in the bass.

@CarfDarko Beautiful, very contemplative

@immaculate_abyss Very cool how your jam evolves over time, nice one.

@AndyAffleck Really nice piece of music. I hope the migraine has eased off and you feel better by now.

@daveyc Nice one, the mix doesn’t sound too bad to me

@mmk230 I love that whistling sequence you have going on in the background, and the delay on the drums provides some nice movement.

@duckramp Cool percussion and I like the general vibe. It feels cold/winter-like in a good way.

Prompts: I chose the word “honey” and the key.
