Another Deluge jam! I’m still trying to learn something new for every jam I record, no matter how small.
I’ve been struggling to find time for the past few days and I’m hoping to go in and fill in some of the gaps, including something I started on Monday before getting stuck with it.
In the meantime, here’s something for today. I used a few sounds which reminded me of phones.

I made some recordings of snow and ski sounds and have been wanting to cut them into samples for a track. It was taking longer than I had, but the three main drum sounds are a boot thud(pitched way down), buckle snap, and snow swish.
Working totally in Koala today, including a sample I tried to create by recording a song playing on my iPhone into my iPad mic…I chopped out a tiny piece and used it as the two note backing here. A sketch!
