Today I wanted to keep things simple. used LXR-01 for drums/bass, Minifreak for the stabs, and DB-01 for the acid sequence. I messed around a little with the sends (to my pedals) which was fun.

last night’s session (around midnight)

this January has been so helpful in re-establishing physical studio connections, and indulging old ideas put on hold over the downtimes of the last few years. Getting back to regular practice has been producing results I’m really excited about as well!

The sounds are all from the MPC Stage Piano (2 stacked instances), with the MPC paired with a Tascam Model 12, which has an FX send to the triple Kaoss Pad chain via the Submix

Day 18. Today I only had time for a short jam with the Soma Terra and Lyra-8. Played in Em7. Recorded two separate tracks directly into Logic, effects added in post.
