This jam deserves and serves today’s prompt from the very first MIDI tick <3
Made on the go with just the Novation Circuit Rhythm:

A Maj 128bpm iOS Korg iKaossilator, Tachyon
This reminds me of artists I used to listen to on the Digital Hardcore label, particularly Bomb 20. I enjoyed the chaos.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed ![]()

Did a tiny appegiated jam on the Moog Model D vst last night, using the Novation X-Station 25 as the control surface. The X-Station needs love, and some of the pots and sliders are skippy. I had a much better session going just after this - just sonically richer, but something went off right before I went to record video. I’ll definitely come back to this again
chaos in a major
I cut up and layered 3 breakbeats in the MPC for a bit of chaos. Also recorded the midi for the Bass Station in there. The sequence is from the Minifreak, and I played a bit on the Osmose which is routed trough X-Time/X-Space/Deco.
Today I created a sound collage in ableton using old loops and GRM Tools Atelier patches. I morphed and crossfaded in real time with the m4l device Chiastic Slide (Chiastic Slide) on my Push 3. Chiastic Slide is an incredible device—simple yet absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend it and a huge thank you to the developer, Zack Steinkamp.
After creating a video that only shows a few channels in Ableton, I used VideoSync 2 to add visuals to the track.
Time for some motorik action..
I was originally planning on recording a bunch of noodling and then edit it down to a shorter track, but ended up pretty happy with it as is.
Long day, short night, took an hour for this one as it was all the studio time left before deadline. Ended up with the idea that a chaotic situation does not have to be frantic and can also be haunting so with the short time I had to grabbed some sounds I really loved and tried to write some haunted ambient with it.
Other creative time for today was taken for a little project I did with my 10y old mini-me for a contest for the game Satisfactory
glad that deadline is done now so I can focus more on Jamuary!
Here’s my attempt for today. I got some chaotic sounds from the Shakti no-input Eurorack mixer plus various modules, mostly a Clouds clone. I used some effects to give the sounds a bit more of a pattern, and added drums and bass.
The arp was a last minute addition.
